Color lesson
I went to the mall this weekend and it only proved what I was suspecting…COLOR IS IN, people!!! So, this inspired me to do a little color research. Many thanks to the Krylon website for the info. I plan on having fun with color this spring season so I’ll be purchasing lots of spray paint š
Here is some basic color info I’ve put together…I hope you learn and enjoy!
Have a wonderful weekend lovies.
Ciao!

Colors we love…
Lately I’ve been obsessing with bold bright colors and one of my favorite combinations is red and purple. These colors have been paired up since the beginning of time and for good reason. The colors compliment each other in a way that exaltsĀ bold, royal and elegant qualities better appreciated in the pairing of the colors. Throw a little gold in the mix and this just got very chic. Pair red and purple with orange and you’ve got a classic color-blocking favorite combo. You can make this combination playful, elegant and classic. The possibilities are asĀ infiniteĀ as your imagination.
I hope these inspired you to bring some bright bold colors into your life.

Cool shop Friday…The White Pepper
Everyone knows Etsy is the go-to online mall for all things vintage and unique. Just recently I found this amazing vintage shop: The White Pepper – Mid-Century and Groovy Vintage Goodies.Ā The owner isĀ Christina, a former Montessori teacher turned treasure hunter…and I must say she is good at finding those treasures. Here are a couple of them to feast your eyes on…but don’t feast for too long or these cool items might be gone.
Click on the pictures to go to the shop.
Hhm…I can keep my art tools in here.
This would look so amazing in a little boy’s room.
Super cool glasses. I would use these for cool cocktails :p
I NEED THESE!
I can just picture this is a very cool nursery. It’s just adooorable!
Love these penguins.

Hope you enjoyed these cool little items. I think I’m going to get the brass turtles…I LOVE turtles and these would be a beautifulĀ addition toĀ my collection.
Heads up, this weekend I’ll be tackling some floral projects I’ve had twirling in my mind for some time. StayĀ tunedĀ for pics š
Ciao lovies…have a wonderful weekend.

Green With Envy
St. Patrick’s day s coming up and in honor of this day that turns everything from cookies to beer green I’d like to share are some beautiful GREEN arrangements.
Green is not really a color that jumps out at me as a common favorite color BUT green is all around us and it is vital in our lives…everything that is good for you is green! One of my favorites elements in an arrangement is moss and I am absolutely obsessed with succulents. But that will be another post.Ā
Here are the flowers…
Don’t you just want to hug this last one? It reminds me of Dr. Seuss š
This weekend I will attempt to make a green arrangement. I already dyed some paper in different shades of green as well as some light yellowish green hues. I’m really excited to make this green arrangement since it’s not a common color to find in flowers. I post some pictures as soon as I have them.
Toodles!
